I think there would be a substantial relief if unused visas are reallocated to oversubscribed countries as in 2003/2004.
Also the 'side' flow might help immensely.
As I stated earlier only a US Citizen can petition USCIS for release of information.
All we can do is speculate.

I am really proud to be part of the IV team. I am also proud of the fact that I am one among the few thousands to take part in the flower campaign and in the rally at San Jose. Kudos to us all!:)

Cost of metro tickets : $14
Cost of a couple of lunch + dinners : $50
Cost of taking cabs to visit lawmakers : $20
Cost of attending the meetings with lawmakers and seeing every IVian, that attended the event during the last three days, working relentlessly for the entire immigrant community stuck in the huge greencard backlog : PRICELESS PRICELESS PRICELESS :)
I think, the event was a huge success and the outcome of the meetings were positive. I wish at least one representative from each state participated in the event. Some offices insisted that they talk to their constituents.
Kudos to everyone who participated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, there is something I wanted to ask I was looking at our I 797C (I485 receipt notice) and found that the Priority date cell is blank. I have checked another I-797 (I-140 approval notice) and it is mentioned there though. Is this common ?
Yes, PD has no significance until case is ripe for final adjudication. Sometimes they don't care, as it has to be filled in manually. When I got my GC (a few months ago), the approval notice I received had every date cell (including PD cell) filled with the date of my final approval. It didn't make any sense, but it didn't matter.

Here is my employment history.
1/1/2001 - Enter USA with H1B from Company A
1/30/2001 - Offer letter from Company B (No pay checks from Company A)
2/9/2001 - Started working for Client via Company B (Got Pay checks from Company B)
4/2/2001 - Received H1B receipt for Company B
5/25/2001 - H1B approval notice with validity till Jan 2004
Nov 2001 - H1B Transfer Approved for Current Employer
Feb 2003 - Re entry to USA
Oct 2004 - Re entry to USA
1. I am out of status till 4/2/2001 or May 2001?
2. In G-325A, Should I be reporting employment from Feb 2001 or Apr 2001 for Employer B?
3. Since I am with my current employer for more than 5 years, can I give this information when requested from USCIS?
Any help appreciated

I grow different kind in my backyard. It all depends on the size of your backyard and which zone you live in states. I live in virginia. By this August end /september first week summer crop will end. I grow tomatoes(30 plants), Mint, snake guard, water melons (15 plants), cantaloupes(10 plants), carrots, okra, spinach , chillis. Its fun and hard work too. You need to dig the soil, mix with top soil or garden soil and cultivate it. Every week fertilize it. This is my first year gardening. I have around 3000 square ft of back yard. i do not know what to do with that. I cannot maintain Lawn in back yard. So I decided to grow vegetables.
I am eagerly waiting for my fall garden..I am planning to grow tulips,beets,cilantro,carrots,potato,peas etc., If I can get same space for garden In India and work place just 3 miles from home , I can happily go back to India.

Please contact IV core before you do these kind of campaigns. While it is understandable that most IV members are enthuiastic and want to contribute in all possible ways, at this time, it is essential to do it in the most effective way. Please come up with innovative ideas and discuss them with core before you start campaigns
