what is the meaning of staff augmentation case? He work at client place and client is administered project.The s/w tool is copyright by client.The reason for asking him to come back is that prior to this company he worked for another company for two years. He left his old company before 5 year. when he joined his current company he has provided all the document mentioned in checklist such as offer letter, exp and releiving letter and last two month pay stub and they did BG for same document.During 5 years career he worked for diff client and everytime they did BG for him before putting him in project and there was no problem happen in his BG. recently his current employer find something wrong about his prior company and they asked him to provide more evidance for prior company.now he don't have any contact of his prior employer and he does not have any more evidnace for showing their company.
Because of this reason they are asking him to come back home country from last two week.He told his company that he tryed to connect his prior employer but he can not make out and he don't have anything more to show the company.
Please suggest what he can do in this situation.
If anyone come across in this situation then please reply to my question.

Politicians are politicians every where. India or USA their intensions are the same. Always cause a trouble to the ruling party, no mercy for the general public who suffer directly with their actions.
Shutdown means no work for 800k fedaral employees. Hence no wages. But bills won't stop.

I am pretty new to the forum (as a member), I have been browsing the same for quite some time and found it a good source of information regarding immigration related activities. Right now I am getting removed from my project as one of the top 3 Indian outsourcing firm is dumping their L1 resources at my client site and replacing all the citizens, GCs, EADs, H1 etc. These resources are used in projects managed and controlled by my client (most of them are consulting assignments) and these resources are used on java/.net/oracle projects, these two are violations of L1 visa restrictions set by USCIS, I want to know how and where to complain against this violation and we have all evidence to prove the same (project documents, time sheets, work assignments etc). Please let me know exactly and to which agencies we should complain.

So cool down, you will get email soon.

Perhaps something as simple as the florist's confirming delivery address etc?
That is the reason they ask for recipient's telephone number. They do warn that they may call the recipient to confirm delivery details.

Folks, first of all don't try to slam me for posting this.. Here is a note that I got from my law firm Paul Hastings.. I am subscribed to their immigration related email.. I got this today.. While this has come as a shock to me, they are still preparing to file my I485.. I did not hear this from my lawyer personally, but only through this newsletter. Update on Adjustment Filings for July
Yesterday, we distributed a Client Alert reporting widespread concern as to the accuracy of the Department of State's (DOS) Visa Bulletin for July 2007 and indicating the possibility that United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) may potentially not accept adjustment of status filings for all, or a part, of July. Today, multiple reliable sources have indicated that, as early as Monday or Tuesday of next week, the DOS could issue a revised Visa Bulletin for July 2007. Most likely, some or all of the employment-based immigrant visa categories would again retrogress and may become completely unavailable. The practical impact is that USCIS would almost certainly stop accepting adjustment applications for filing if the revised Visa Bulletin indicates that immigrant visa numbers are not available.
This unexpected development would deviate from many years of agency practice. It would be devastating for companies and foreign national employees who have relied, as they are entitled to do, on the July Visa Bulletin and were anticipating the filing of adjustments throughout the month of July. We have initiated a concerted effort to aggressively address this unprecedented situation through the highest levels of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the DOS. I cannot name any lawyers in my post, so I leave it up to you whether to treat this as serious advice or not...
My lawyer says USCIS does not allow one person to be represented in more than one 485 applications....whether the person is primary or beneficiary.
My wife's lawyer (I won't name this lawyer either) says there is no prohibition on filing multiple 485s.....however, it's just a waste of money (her opinion).

Can POJ be only be used for cases that were seperated? Last time, I used the POJ method, the IO told me to talk to the CSR and he refused to give me the status of my case.

I think Vonage will offer this free International calling for few months till it meets its target of new subscribers and then start charging per minute later on or in an indirect manner.
Once the new charges come into force the happy subscribers will not be able to cancel the service immediately due to cancellation charges and moreover since all other providers will be more of the same, Vonage wud then retain most of the customers

It may take some arguing with the CS - but I know some people who have done this successfully with telephone companies like Verizone/Sprint etc when they changed some inconsequencial T&C.

Isn't is written somwhere that if the last day of a month falls on a saturday or a sunday then they accept the applications on the next working day even if it falls under next month.

With the earlier method or the current method, EB3-I will always end up last. Vertically EB3-ROW gets the excess visas (old method), horizontally EB2-I gets the excess visas (new method). So, either way EB3-I won't benefit, the only solace being that with the current system atleast our EB2-I friends are getting their freedom faster.
For us, visa recapture or other legislative changes are the only relief.

Kaiser started this new rule to not hire folks on EADs as of last week.
I thought, this may be the work of various vendors who fear of losing lot of their employees jumping to the Client as Full time employees. Dont know actual reason yet.
